Overall rating
This place was very beautiful and it a was a very scenic location. It’s not the easiest place to get up to if the roads are icy. We just happened to be there the weekend there was a large amount of snow. Once it froze in the evening, you could only get up there with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. After more snow, we had a hard time getting out of the inclined driveway. But weather issues aside, the house itself was great. It had all the space and supplies we needed. The host was great about getting back to me with any questions. And allowed us to easily stay another day to wait for the snow to clear.
Our Family felt right at home and enjoyed the beautiful accommodations and location and local area. We appreciate the owners and management company, very personable and helpful. Each person in our Family would Highly recommend and look forward to staying in future. Happy New Year!
What a beautiful home. We spend time with our daughters and their families there for a Christmas get together. We loved every moment and every memory made! The house is fully equipped with everything you could need for cooking and hosting a family dinner. We even found out our family knew a close neighbor and we have friends building their cabin right up the hill! Lovely place to stay for sure!

We had to find a place last minute and host was very responsive and accommodating. It exceeded our expectations. Plenty of private space yet cozy enough when we wanted to be together. Would highly recommend!!

Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Trailhound Cabin Co will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
