Valley Vista is a brand new 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath cabin scheduled for completion in November of 2022 in the popular Powder House Pass development. It’s the perfect place to stay, play, relax and rejuvenate. Valley Vista also features a large covered patio, premium gas grill, garage access, open family room, and manicured paved roads. The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking home meals. You’ll also have access to the Powder House Pass clubhouse with two swimming pools, a fire pit, and an additional community area with a kitchen, games, and tv. Valley Vista is located in Powder House Pass, south of Lead and Deadwood. This is an ideal basecamp for hiking, skiing at Terry Peak Ski Resort, snowmobiling, riding ATV’s, exploring Spearfish Canyon, or visiting Sturgis, all while staying nearby to Deadwood’s many dining options and bustling downtown scene. We’re just a short drive back by taxi! Additionally, the Mickelson Trail and Trail #5 run right past us and you can easily hop on and explore. **Pets are allowed at an additional expense of $50/night for only ONE pet unless otherwise approved. Beautiful space, clean and plenty of room!
My family of 13 fit perfectly. The neighborhood was good but the houses are very close together. Was hard to find the house at night. Also the stove was beautiful easy clean up but was not clear that only the pans you have work for it.. Other than that the house was beautiful the hot tub and sauna were great. We enjoyed the club house. We definitely had a nice stay and would do it again. They responded quickly if we had questions. Thank u for sharing ur home!!

Beautiful space, clean and plenty of room!

Also the stove was beautiful easy clean up but was not clear that only the pans you have work for it.. Other than that the house was beautiful the hot tub and sauna were great. We enjoyed the club house. We definitely had a nice stay and would do it again. They responded quickly if we had questions. Thank u for sharing ur home!!

TrailHound's property was wonderful, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. The Hills are truly special. The house was massive with plenty of room for all our guests, and plenty of space to move around. We all had an unforgettable weekend staying here.
Beautiful, quiet, clean spacious house. A little far from Keystone and Hill City if you are visiting the Black Hills for that. If you are interested in Terry Peak, Lead, Deadwood and the Spearfish Canyon, this is your place! It would have been nice to have knowledge prior to showing up as to what supplies existed in kitchen "Pots/Pans, crockpot, mixer, measuring stuff, silverware". However a lot of the stuff does exist just didn't know it prior to arrival. We had 15 people stay at the house with a mixture of older adults "Grandma/Grandpa" to Great grandkids 3-5 years old. We had plenty of space for all of us. The Hot tub and Sauna are a GREAT addition to this house. Pool could be a bit closer and heated a bit more for the time we visited "Cool Evenings" but it was a beautiful with deer visiting us daily and once we saw a coyote right off the deck. Very nice place to stay with very comfortable beds. Thanks Trailhound for hosting!!!
We had an amazing trip! The location was perfect. The home is even better than the photos! Very comfortable and cozy. All rooms were great, very comfy beds and nice tvs. The hot tub and sauna were awesome. Hosts were great very responsive if we had any questions! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!
The Airbnb was very nice. Included some basics as well like plenty of towels and soap in every bathroom. The host is also very understanding and nice. Great place to stay.
Everything was perfect.
This home has it all! There was more than enough space for our extended family of 15! We used the hot tub and sauna often during the cool nights. It was great to have access to the clubhouse with a pool for the youngest ones. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area!

Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Trailhound Cabin Co will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Trailhound Cabin Co will match it.
